We make these little treats multiple times every winter. They are easy to make and the perfect combination of sweet, salty and juicy. Bonus, they look great on a plate for a Christmas or New Years party. They won't last long.
Dark Chocolate Covered Oranges
3 lb bag Clementines
1 bag Enjoy Life Dark Chocolate Morsels
A few tablespoons coarse grain Himalayan Sea Salt
Prepare two cookie sheets by lining with wax paper.
Peel and separate clementines.
Put chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for one minute. Stir chocolate and put back in for 10 seconds. Stir. Repeat until chocolate is melted. (or melt over a double boiler).
Dip half of each orange slice in chocolate sauce and lay them on lined cookie sheets.
Put 2-3 pieces of salt on each orange.
Refrigerate or Freeze for 20-30 minutes. Store in the refrigerator until ready to eat.
